Abstract:
A parking assistance unit 60 comprises a control request unit 64 that executes step support control of requesting a braking control unit 52 to actuate a braking device 10 so that the braking force of the vehicle becomes large under the condition that one of the front wheels and the rear wheels contacts a step. In the step support control, the control request unit 64 requests the braking control unit 52 to set the braking force distribution ratio higher than the braking force distribution ratio in the case where the braking operation is performed in a state where the step support control is not executed.
