Abstract:
This vehicle travel control device calculates torque required from a motor on the basis of an accelerator opening and a vehicle speed, for a first regenerative control mode and a second regenerative control mode, selects, from the calculated torque required from the motor, the torque which is required from the motor and suitable for the first regenerative control mode or the second regenerative control mode, and limits the rate of change of the torque required from the motor when the selected torque required for the motor changes beyond a predetermined rate of change by switching from the first regenerative control mode to the second regenerative control mode.
