Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle travel device including: a vehicle control unit (24) that controls a driving force and a braking force of a power unit for causing a vehicle (10A) to travel, the vehicle including a mounted-object holder (18) on which a mounted object (20) can be mounted; a traveling-path-state information acquisition unit (32) that acquires state information of a traveling path on which the vehicle travels; and a travel control unit (34) that generates, on the basis of the state information of the traveling path acquired by the traveling-path-state information acquisition unit, acceleration and deceleration information of the vehicle for setting a relative positional relationship between the mounted-object holder and the mounted object mounted on said mounted-object holder so as to achieve a prescribed positional relationship and that outputs acceleration and deceleration instructions to the vehicle control unit during traveling.
