Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle underbody inspection robot comprising a robot main body, a travel camera, a plurality of underbody inspection cameras, a communication unit, and a control unit. The control unit: controls a driving motor so as to enable the robot main body to repeatedly move and stop along a predetermined route; by operating the plurality of underbody inspection cameras every time the robot main body stops, captures subject regions of an underbody of an inspected vehicle such that same overlap with each other; and after the capturing of all the subject regions of the underbody of the inspected vehicle is completed, processes image data and self-generates a registered image photo of the underbody of the inspected vehicle, or transmits the image data to the outside so that the registered image photo may be generated by an external device. The plurality of underbody inspection cameras are arranged at predetermined intervals along the width direction of the robot main body, and the quantity thereof may be changed in accordance with the distance between left and right wheels of the inspected vehicle.
