Abstract:
By preventing unintended starts on the basis of the vibration acting on the tires, this vehicle unintended start prevention device prevents unintended starts regardless of a poor field of view or image processing algorithms. When vibration is detected upon collision of the tire (3) with a wheel-stop, etc., a tire-side device (1) transmits collision data, which is received by a vehicle-side device (2), which determines an unintended vehicle start. Thereby, regardless of a poor field of view or image processing algorithms, it is possible to prevent unintended starts that might not have been prevented with cameras or radars.
