Abstract:
A vehicle (V) that is provided with: a vehicle body (D); an electric drive unit (19) that is mounted on the vehicle body (D) and that is driven by electricity; an engine (14) that operates on liquid fuel; a generator (10) that is driven by the engine (14) and that generates electric power; and a control device (15) that includes a power generation control unit (152) that outputs signals that control the engine (14) and the generator (10), and an electric power output unit (16) that outputs electric power generated by the generator (10) to the electric drive unit (19). The control device (15), the engine (14), and the generator (10) constitute a physically integrated unit (P) that can be removed from the vehicle body (D). The present invention is configured such that, when the unit (P) is installed on the vehicle body (D), the present invention outputs a store visit promotion signal to an information device (G1, G2) that suggests visits to a store (S) that can replace the unit (P), and such that, when the unit (P) is installed on the vehicle body (D), the present invention outputs electric power from the electric power output unit (16) to the electric drive unit (19) without using a battery.
