Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle-use communication device comprising: an electronic control unit (ECU) (2) that transmits a command signal if a prescribed operation is carried out with respect to the state of vehicle equipment (11-15); and a portable communication terminal (3) that, when the command signal is received from the ECU (2), displays a notification screen notifying a user that an operation was inappropriate, the display carried out on a terminal display (3b). Because the vehicle-use communication device comprises the foregoing, it is possible for the user to promptly ascertain, through the portable communication terminal, that a piece of vehicle equipment has not started up (is not operating) as intended, or ascertain the reason for the occurrence of a buzzer sound generated by a vehicle buzzer.
