Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle wheel such that the occurrence, during forming, of the deformation of a disk flange and the cracking of corners of trim holes is restrained. An automotive wheel (10) comprises (a) a rim (20) which has a drop section, and (b) a disk (30) which is provided with a plurality of spoke sections (33) and a disk flange (35) and wherein trim holes (34) are formed between the spoke sections, said rim and disk flange section being bonded together. The plurality of spoke sections (33) radially extend outwardly in the direction of the wheel radius, and the disk flange (35) is located at the outer end in the radial direction of the wheel and connects the outer tips, in the radial direction of the wheel, of the plurality of spokes in the circumferential direction of the disk. Portions of the disk flange corresponding to the radially outer end (S) of each spoke section are cut out more outwardly in the wheel axis direction (L) of the disk flange compared to an inner end edge (35a) which is located inwardly in the wheel axis direction (L), with the result that cutouts (36) are formed. The shortest distance (a1) between a cutout and the outer peripheral edge of an adjacent trim hole is smaller than the disk flange width (a2) in the wheel axis direction, at the center position (CD) in the disk circumferential direction of the adjacent trim hole.
