Abstract:
In this vehicle wheel, an auxiliary air chamber member (10) is provided with: a lower surface (25b) arranged on the outer circumferential surface (11d) side of a well section (11c); an upper surface (25a) arranged radially outward from the lower surface (25b); an auxiliary air chamber (SC) formed between the upper surface (25a) and the lower surface (25b); a pair of edges (14a, 14b) that join the lower surface (25b) and the upper surface (25a) on both sides in the width direction and that engage with the well section (11c); and a plurality of joining sections (33) that partially join the upper surface (25a) and the lower surface (25b) as a result of being sunk into the interior of the auxiliary air chamber (SC) from the upper surface (25a) and the lower surface (25b) between one edge (14a) and the other edge (14b) along the wheel width direction Y. The joining points (C1, C2) of the individual joining sections (33) are arranged on the strong axis (PA1) of the cross-sectional main axis of the auxiliary air chamber member (10) in an axial right section.
