Abstract:
A vehicle window-glass raising and lowering device 100 is provided with: a drive unit 2 that has an electric motor 21 as a driving source and generates a driving force for raising and lowering a window glass 9; and a raising and lowering mechanism 3 for raising and lowering the window glass 9 by the driving force of the drive unit 2. The drive unit 2 has: a drum 22 serving as an output rotary member for outputting the driving force to the raising and lowering mechanism 3; a pinion 23 serving as an intermediate rotary member for rotating along with the rotation of an output shaft of the electric motor 21; and an intermittent mechanism 5 that is disposed between the drum 22 and the pinion 23 and is capable of switching between a connected state in which the drum 22 and the pinion 23 are connected so as to be integrally rotatable, and a cutoff state in which the connection between the drum 22 and the pinion 23 is cut off.
