A vehicle window shade device covers a first window and a second window which are adjacent to each other, in such a way that said windows can be shaded and opened. The vehicle window shade device is provided with a guiding and supporting mechanism which has a guide rail and a movable member, said guide rail being disposed along the direction of pulling out and encasing a second window shade, and said movable member being movable along the guide rail; a rack member whereto the movable member is connected and which is movable along the guide rail; and a relay transmission mechanism which comprises a first bevel gear and a second bevel gear, and whereby, through the engagement of said bevel gears, the rotation of a winding shaft of a first winding device is transmitted as a source of a force that moves the rack member along the guide rail, said first bevel gear being connected to the winding shaft of the first winding device in such a way as to be rotatable by interlocking with said winding shaft, and said second bevel gear being disposed in such a way as to engage with the first bevel gear.
