Abstract:

Provided is a vehicle which produces an alarm when tampered with while security is enabled and which is provided with an ignition switch operation device for changing the switching state of an ignition switch in response to operation of a mechanical key inserted into a casing or operation of an operation unit, wherein an illumination unit (50b) for illuminating the surroundings of the insertion location for the mechanical key (22) or the operation unit is provided on the ignition switch operation unit (10) so that in addition to normal illumination indicating the insertion location for the mechanical key (22) or the operation unit location, it is also possible to indicate the security-enabled state. This allows for indication of the security-enabled state while allowing for a reduction in the number of parts as well as greater design freedom.
