A vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine and a motor, wherein a control unit sets a battery output target value for a main circuit battery and a power generator, on the basis of the battery maximum charge/discharge power which is calculated from the SOC estimated value and the battery temperature. On the basis of the battery output target value and the battery output detection value obtained by feedback, the control unit calculates a DC link power correction value, outputs a vehicle request torque by correcting the power generator torque and the internal combustion engine output, and controls the battery charge/discharge power so as to reach a target value, while repeatedly charging and discharging the main circuit battery and increasing the temperature of the main circuit battery.
