Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to increase the travel responsiveness in response to a start-off operation in a vehicle comprising a motor-generator. The present invention comprises: an engine; a magnet motor-generator including a rotor which includes a permanent magnet and is connected to a crankshaft such that motive power is transmitted, without a clutch, between the rotor and the crankshaft such that said rotor rotates at a fixed speed ratio relative to the crankshaft, and including a stator positioned so as to face the rotor, said magnet motor-generator rotating the crankshaft at least when an engine combustion operation is started, and generating electrical power when driven by the engine; an electrical power storage device; an accelerator operating element; a driven member which is driven by the motive power output from the engine and configured to cause the vehicle to travel; a motive-power transmission device; and a control unit. The motive-power transmission device is configured such that, before the rotational speed of the crankshaft reaches 2,000 rpm while the rotational speed is increasing, motive power is transmitted between the crankshaft and the driven member. If the engine combustion operation is in a stopped state and the accelerator operating element is operated so as to instruct output from the engine, the control unit controls the magnet motor-generator so as to rotate the crankshaft with electrical power from the electricity storage device in a state in which the engine combustion operation is stopped, while said control unit starts the engine combustion operation by supplying fuel thereto, before the rotational speed of the crankshaft reaches 2,000 rpm. Before the rotational speed of the crankshaft reaches 2,000 rpm while the rotational speed is increasing, the driven member is configured to be driven by the motive power of the crankshaft resulting from the combustion in the engine.
