Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the responsiveness of vehicle travel with respect to operation of an accelerator operator in a vehicle provided with a magnet-type motor, and particularly the responsiveness when starting the vehicle. This vehicle is provided with: an engine; a magnet-type motor; a power storage device; a member to be driven; an accelerator operator; and a control unit which is configured so as to control the magnet-type motor and the engine such that, when a torque request is inputted by an operation of the accelerator operator by a driver, in a state in which combustion operation of the engine is stopped and the member to be driven is not being driven, the vehicle is made to travel in a state in which combustion operation of the engine is stopped, by making the magnet-type motor use power in the power storage device to rotate a crankshaft and drive the member to be driven.
