Abstract:
The present invention suppresses variation in the blast temperature of air supplied into a vehicle cabin during a transition of operational modes so as to stabilize the blast temperature. Provided is a vehicular air conditioner that comprises: a refrigerant circuit which is equipped with a compressor for compressing a refrigerant and which causes the compressed refrigerant to be condensed, decompressed, and evaporated; an intra-cabin air conditioning unit that is provided with a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and air to be supplied into a vehicle cabin and that is also provided with an internal-external air switching device that introduces internal air or external air, while switching the proportion thereof, into an air flow passageway for air that undergoes heat-exchange at the heat exchanger; and a control device which controls the refrigerant circuit and also controls the internal-external air switching device. The control device is capable of selectively executing multiple operational modes which serve the same air-conditioning purpose and in which switching is performed between refrigerant flow channels of the refrigerant circuit. The control device reduces the rotation speed of the compressor in response to a transition of the operational modes and also switches the internal-external air switching device to perform internal air circulation.
