Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular air-conditioning apparatus capable of achieving operation with an appropriate amount of refrigerant in both an operation mode in which the refrigerant does not flow into a receiver and an operation mode in which the refrigerant does not flow into the receiver. This vehicular air-conditioning apparatus switches and executes a heating mode in which the refrigerant does not flow into the receiver 30 (a receiver dryer unit 14 and a supercooling unit 16) of a refrigerant circuit R and a cooling mode in which the refrigerant flows into the receiver. The capacity of each device and at least one refrigerant pipe is set so as to create an appropriate refrigerant amount range such that liquid refrigerant from an accumulator 12 does not overflow in the heating mode and the exhaustion of the liquid refrigerant in the receiver is prevented in the cooling mode, and the refrigerant is charged within the appropriate refrigerant amount range.
