Abstract:
A vehicular air conditioning device is provided with: a compressor (11) that forms a refrigeration cycle and compresses a refrigerant for air-conditioning the cabin; a detection unit (22) that detects thermal load of the air-conditioning in the cabin; and a control unit (18) that controls the rotational speed of the compressor so that the thermal load detected by the detection unit satisfies a pre-set air conditioning requirement in the cabin. The control unit, when the air conditioning requirement is satisfied by the control of the rotational speed of the compressor, defines a rotational speed within a predetermined range including the rotational speed satisfying the air conditioning requirement as a reference rotational speed, and periodically switches between the reference rotational speed and a low rotational speed lower than the reference rotational speed so as to maintain the state in which the air conditioning requirement is satisfied.
