Abstract:
 Provided is a vehicular brake device capable of suppressing activation noise of an electric brake, particularly during low speeds and stops when activation noise becomes more noticeable. This vehicular brake device is provided with a hydraulic brake device and an electric brake device, the electric brake device having an electric motor (2), a braking force load mechanism for subjecting the vehicle wheels to the load of a braking force equal to a value according to the output of the electric motor (2), and a control device (9) for controlling the electric motor (2). A brake operation input detection means (31a) for detecting brake operation input is provided, the control device (9) having a determination means (41) for determining whether or not the vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detection means (44) is equal to or less than an established vehicle speed, and an actuation limiting means (49) for suppressing or stopping the output of the electric motor (2) when the vehicle speed is determined by the determination means (41) to be equal to or less than the established vehicle speed, even if brake operation input has been detected by the brake operation input detection means (31a).
