Abstract:

This vehicular display device is provided with: a display processing unit that causes a direction guide image to be displayed in a display region, the a direction guide image being used for a guide for a turning position at which a vehicle needs to change direction; and a display pattern determination unit that determines a display pattern for the direction guide image in accordance with the traveling speed of the vehicle. The display pattern determination unit determines the display pattern in such a manner as to have an increasingly greater length between the upper end and the lower end of the direction guide image in proportion to the increase in traveling speed of the vehicle. The display processing unit causes the direction guide image to be displayed in the display region in accordance with the display pattern determined by the display pattern determination unit.
