Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular display device that enables an intuitive recognition of a direction from which a display image is obtained by imaging without requiring a large movement of viewpoint. A vehicular display device (1000) is provided with reflection members (513, 523, 533) for reflecting display light (L1, L2) toward an observer so as to enable visual recognition of a virtual image of a display image. The display image includes at least a drive assist image including vehicle information or navigation information, a left rearward image obtained by imaging an area to the left and rearward of a vehicle (1), and a right rearward image obtained by imaging an area to the right and rearward of the vehicle (1). A virtual image (V1) of the drive assist image is entirely included in an effective field of view angle in a horizontal direction. A virtual image (V2) of the left rearward image is positioned on the left side of the virtual image (V1) of the drive assist image, with at least a part of the virtual image (V2) being included in the effective field of view angle in the horizontal direction. A virtual image (V3) of the right rearward image is positioned on the right side of the virtual image (V1) of the drive assist image, with at least a part of the virtual image (V3) being included in the effective field of view angle in the horizontal direction.
