Abstract:
A vehicular display device comprises: a light-transmitting outer appearance part (40) that includes a light-transmitting plate (41) and a lid member (50) that are formed to have a light-transmitting property and configures a light-transmitting appearance. The light-transmitting outer appearance part (40) has a light source (60) that is arranged on the non-viewing side of the light-transmitting outer appearance part (40) and that emits light-source light, and a visually disguised part that is arranged further to the viewer side than the light source (60) such that the light source (60) is visually disguised in the front view direction (FED) from the viewer side, and that forms a total reflection interface (53a) with a refractive index difference using the light-transmitting plate (41) and the lid member (50). With this, the appearance of the light-transmitting outer appearance part (40) is improved.
