Abstract:
This vehicular display system comprises: a plurality of display areas; display control units (144, 145) that control display contents in the plurality of display areas; and a switching control unit (147) that switches between a synchronous mode and an asynchronous mode for synchronizing and not synchronizing, respectively, the contents displayed in the plurality of display areas. Therefore, convenience for an occupant of a vehicle is improved compared to a system in which a plurality of display areas are always synchronized, and a system in which a plurality of display areas are not always synchronized. When switching to the synchronous mode, the switching control unit (147) switches to the synchronous mode while keeping display settings and displaying a determined image in the display area of a synchronization source. Consequently, the occupant of the vehicle can continue to confirm the image of the synchronization source. In this respect, this vehicular display system is also highly convenient for the occupant.
