The present invention provides a vehicular door switch wherein a component formed from a smooth member or a synthetic resin, demonstrating excellent durability and low frictional resistance and having a curved surface shape, is installed between a rubber cover and the front end surface of a shaft, thereby preventing damage to the rubber cover and allowing light on/off operation to be maintained over a long period. This vehicular door switch is characterized by having a structure wherein: the front end surface of the cover has a protruding section capable of extending and retracting forward and backward; an elastic buffer material is mated, which is arc-shaped in cross section and abuts on the inner surface of the cover in a central section and a peripheral section in the vicinity thereof; a shaft having a curved front end surface abuts on the buffer material; the shaft has a cylindrical part formed as a result of a portion of the shaft projecting outward horizontally at an intermediate portion of the shaft and hanging downward, and the portion of the shaft on a lower side from the center is formed to be narrower than the front end portion of the shaft; a spiral spring is fitted around the narrower shaft; the spiral spring hangs further downward than the lower end of the narrower shaft; a plus terminal is in constant electrical connection with a contact; and a ground terminal touches the contact.
