Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicular drive control device wherein, when a driver is in a state of putting a foot upon an accelerator pedal, automatically commences a following control, and the following control is disengaged when the driver presses down upon the accelerator pedal. When a quantity of change of an operation of an accelerator pedal remains within a predetermined range at or beyond a predetermined time, the vehicular drive control device switches from normal control to following control, commencing automatic control that maintains a distance between the vehicle and a vehicle ahead of the vehicle at a predetermined distance, and when the quantity of change of the operation of the accelerator pedal increases up to or beyond a predetermined value, the vehicular drive control device returns to normal control from following control, causes the accelerator pedal to generate an operational recoil according to a directive value that is issued by an accelerator operational recoil computation unit, and, when switching from following control to normal control, switches using a predetermined inclination from a torque directive value of the following control unit to a torque value of the normal control unit.
