A vehicular electric lock device having: a magnet provided to a slider linearly actuated in accordance with the rotation of an electric motor, the slider being interlocked with and coupled to a lock member; and a magnetic sensor that uses the magnetic field of the magnet to detect that the lock member is in a lock position and/or an unlock position, wherein the slider (18) is composed of a threaded member (50) formed from a rigid ferromagnetic body and threaded onto a screw shaft (17), and a magnet holding member (51) formed from a paramagnetic body, the magnet holding member covering the threaded member (50) and holding the magnet (19); and the magnet holding member (51) is connected to the threaded member (50) so as to be incapable of relative movement in a direction parallel to the axis of the screw shaft (17) and incapable of relative rotation around the axis of the screw shaft (17). Size reduction and accurate detection of the position of the lock member are thereby made possible.
