Abstract:
A vehicular electronic control system (1) is provided with: a vehicular master device (11) which instructs an electronic control device that is to be rewritten, to write update data received from a center device, and delivers the update data to the electronic control device that is to be rewritten; the electronic control device (19), which writes the update data received from the vehicular master device into nonvolatile memory; and a meter device (45) including an indicator. The vehicular electronic control system is provided with: a phase identifying unit (91a) which identifies a program update phase; a display instructing unit (91b) which instructs the indicator to perform a display using a mode corresponding to the program update phase determined by the phase identifying unit; and an indicator display control unit (91c) which controls the indicator display in accordance with the instruction from the display instructing unit.
