Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular exterior door handle device which, by using a parting line formed in a support member that is a resin molded product formed using a mold, prevents the rotation operation of the exterior door handle from becoming non-smooth and prevents the occurrence of abnormal sounds when the exterior door handle is rotated. The inner surface of a through-hole in the support member comprises: a near surface positioned on the rotational axis side; and a far surface farther from the rotational axis than the near surface. A guide protrusion is provided to at least one among the near surface and the far surface, and guides the motion of the outer peripheral surface of a pressing member. When the support member is being formed, the position of the parting line formed on the outer peripheral surface of the support member is offset from the guide protrusion.
