Abstract:
A vehicular image-processing apparatus (13), which is installed in a vehicle (C) having image capture units (11, 12) that capture images around the vehicle, and a display unit (14) that displays the captured images, comprises: a first acquisition unit that acquires the vehicle speed as a travel state at the time of image capture; a storage unit (24) that stores the captured images as past images; an image creation unit (23) that combines, on the basis of the travel state, the past images with current images being captured by the image capture units, thereby creating display images; and a direction determination unit that determines the traveling direction of the vehicle on the basis of an acquisition value of a second acquisition unit that acquires the actual traveling condition of the vehicle. The image creation unit combines the past images with the current images on the basis of the traveling direction in addition to the travel state.
