Abstract:
A vehicular input device 100 comprises: a button 3 that is disposed in the interior of a vehicle; an electrostatic sensor 10 that is disposed below the back surface of the button 3; a detection unit that detects vibrations of the vehicle; and an operation recognition device 40 that recognizes, on the basis of output from the electrostatic sensor 10, a touch operation performed on the front surface of the button 3. The operation recognition device 40 increases sensitivity for the touch operation, if the vibration width and/or vibration frequency of the vibrations detected by the detection unit is at least a prescribed value.
