This vehicular manipulation apparatus (10) is used to operate a separate apparatus (11) installed in the vehicle. The vehicular manipulation apparatus includes a manipulable part (22, 40), a communication unit (34), an indicator (23), and a controller (32). The manipulable part is manipulated in order to carry out incremental input of a setting value for a control parameter for controlling the separate apparatus. The communication unit communicates with the separate apparatus to transmit manipulation information, which includes the amount of manipulation on the manipulable part, to the separate apparatus and receive a setting value for the separate apparatus. The indicator digitally displays the setting value received by the communication unit. The controller uses the setting value received by the communication unit to control an image displayed on the indicator. With respect to incremental display of changes implemented by manipulation, the controller increases the size of an incremental change for the setting value on display if the amount of manipulation during a specified setting period is greater than or equal to a specified setting amount of manipulation, said increase being relative to when the amount of manipulation is less than the setting amount of manipulation.
