Abstract:
This vehicular master device (11) is equipped with: a rewrite specification data acquisition unit (74) that acquires rewrite specification data from the outside; a rewrite specification data analysis unit (75) that analyzes the rewrite specification data acquired by the rewrite specification data acquisition unit; a group generation unit (85a) that, on the basis of the rewrite specification data analyzed by the rewrite specification data analysis unit, generates groups by grouping electronic control devices for which rewriting is to be carried out; and an instruction execution unit (85b) that, on a group-by-group basis for the groups generated by the group generation unit, instructs the electronic control devices to carry out any one of an install, a rollback, or an activation.
