Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular motor control device comprising an inverter in which a plurality of power semiconductor elements are mounted and which drives a motor by switching control, and a DC/DC converter for stepping up an output voltage of a direct current power source in accordance with a voltage command value and applying same to the inverter, wherein the inverter uses wide band gap semiconductors, such as SiC elements, as the power semiconductor elements, and the DC/DC converter has a circuit configuration where the output voltage during direct current/direct current power conversion is stepped.
