Abstract:
This vehicular operating device is provided with distance sensors (161, 162) which are provided on a rear frame (140), for detecting an amount of displacement (d) from a variation in a distance to a design component (110) accompanying a pressing operation, and a control unit (170) for determining the presence or absence of the pressing operation on the basis of the amount of displacement obtained by the distance sensors, wherein: the vehicular operating device is provided with a microcomputer (173) for implementing moving average processing with respect to data relating to the amount of displacement, and a differential amplification unit (172) for performing differential amplification processing with respect to the data relating to the amount of displacement, in parallel with the microcomputer; and the control unit determines the presence or absence of the pressing operation on the basis of either moving average processing data obtained by the microcomputer, or differential amplification processing data obtained by the differential amplification unit.
