Abstract:
Provided are a vehicular pop-up hood device such that the fluctuation over time of the amount of motion energy absorption since the start of receiving of a pedestrian by the hood is small, and such that the motion energy absorption amount is stable, and a vehicle equipped with the vehicular pop-up hood device. The vehicular pop-up hood device (5) is provided with an actuator (12) and a bracket (14) for attaching the actuator (12) to a vehicle body. The bracket (14) extends in a direction intersecting an axis line direction of a cylinder (7). The bracket (14) comprises a metal plate and includes a main-plate portion (16) extending out from the cylinder (7), a corrugated-plate like shock absorption portion (20) continuous with an end in the extending direction of the main-plate portion (16); and a vehicle body attachment portion (17) extending out from the shock absorption portion (20) in a direction approximately perpendicular to the cylinder axis line direction.
