Abstract:

In a vehicular state switching device, an ignition switch (4) and a case (5) are fixed on a steering column cover. A rotator (6) is rotatably borne on the case (5), and a shift position switch (8) is fixed in the case (5). A dial (9) is so mounted in the case (5) as can rotate on a line substantially aligned with the center of rotation of the rotator (6). A hole (14) is formed in the outer periphery of the dial (9), and a shift lock solenoid (15) is mounted on the outer circumference of the case (5) at a portion corresponding to the hole (14). A lock pin (16) moved by the shift lock solenoid (15) is provided.
