Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vehicular steering device with which it is possible to stabilize behavior when a vehicle is reversing. [Solution] This vehicular steering device is provided with: a reaction force device for imparting a steering reaction force to a steering wheel; a drive device for steering a tire in response to steering by the steering wheel; and a control unit for controlling the reaction force device and the drive device. The control unit is provided with: a steering ratio map unit for setting a steering ratio gain corresponding to the vehicle speed of the vehicle; and a target steering angle generating unit for generating a target steering angle by multiplying the steering angle of the steering wheel by the steering ratio gain. The steering ratio gain when the vehicle is reversing is at least equal to the steering ratio gain when the vehicle is moving forward.
