Abstract:

　In a mechanism for housing a vehicular door mirror device, after a clutch plate has been disengaged from the gear plate, a sound is emitted when the gear plate is rotated and the clutch plate is engaged with the gear plate by the urging force of a coil spring. Butyl tape is then spread to portions on the upper and lower sides of the gaps of the coil spring, minimizing the vibration of the coil spring. Therefore, the sound can be dampened.
