Disclosed is a vending machine (100), comprising: a cabinet (101), a hopper (107), a hopper driving mechanism (121), a first blocking door mechanism (123), a second blocking door mechanism (125), a controller and a channel (105). The surface of the cabinet (101) is provided with a pickup port (103). The channel (105) is provided to store goods. The hopper (107) comprises an inlet (115) and an outlet (117), the inlet (115) being provided to receive goods to be delivered from the channel (105), the outlet (117) being provided to fit with the pickup port (103). The hopper driving mechanism (121) is provided to drive the hopper (107) to move within the cabinet (101). The first blocking door mechanism (123) is provided to block or expose the inlet (115). The second blocking door mechanism (125) is provided to block or expose the outlet (117). The controller is provided to control the first blocking door mechanism (123) to expose the inlet (115) and control the second blocking door mechanism (125) to block the outlet (117) during the entry of the goods to be delivered into the hopper (107). Further disclosed is a goods delivery method.
