Abstract:
Provided is a vending machine that makes it possible to reduce cost. A vending machine (1) provided with product selection buttons (41) for inputting a product number and selecting a desired product to purchase, and a display unit (42) for displaying the product number selected using the product selection buttons (41) and the amount of money inserted, wherein a customer-facing part outer door (4) of the vending machine (1) is opened and a preset button from among the product selection buttons (41) is pressed, whereby a switch is made from a normal mode, in which the product selection buttons (41) and the display unit (42) function as input/output devices for the vending machine (1), to a remote-control mode.
