Abstract:
An operation plate (31) for the automatic opening and closing of a ventilation device (10) is pressed to one of an open position and a closed position by a first pressing means (38). Also, the operation plate (31) is pressed by a second pressing means (39) to the side opposite the side toward which the first pressing means (38) presses the operation plate (31). First springs (33) which consist of a shape memory alloy are used as the first pressing means (38). The first springs (33) are arranged in the direction perpendicular to the direction of pressing by the first springs (33). As a result of this configuration, without a large change in dimensions of the shape memory alloy springs, such as the coil diameter and the wire diameter, the ventilation device can reliably comply specifications including the ventilation performance.
