Abstract:
[Problem] To be able to adequately ventilate the interior of a forcing cultivation house even in an environment with almost no wind. [Solution] An auxiliary unit 10 comprising: an opening and closing valve 32 that opens and closes when the temperature inside the forcing cultivation house 1 exceeds a prescribed value; and a scirocco fan 20 that receives the wind around the forcing cultivation house 1 and rotates, the auxiliary unit 10 being attached to a ventilation device 50 having a cylindrical shape and the auxiliary unit 10 supplementing the ventilation by the ventilation device 50, wherein the auxiliary unit 10 further comprises a solar panel 13, a DC motor 15 that is driven by the power generated by the solar panel 13, and a roller 17 having a shaft center that is connected to the motor shaft 15A of the DC motor 15, the roller 17 rotating the scirocco fan 20.
