Abstract:
Disclosed are a verification method and a verification device for recognizing pulse information about a verifier so as to verify the identity thereof. The method comprises: acquiring first pulse information input by a verifier; acquiring, from the first pulse information, a first value used for characterizing an alternating current (AC) component; matching the first value with a pre-stored second value, wherein the second value is a pre-stored value, used for characterizing an AC component, in second pulse information about a user; and if matching is unsuccessful, verification not being passed. In the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application, by means of matching a first value, used for characterizing an AC component, in pulse information about a verifier and a pre-set second value, whether verification is passed is determined, and since a characteristic of the AC component is used, counterfeiting is made more difficult, thereby improving the security of verification.
