Claims:
CLAIMS

A verification system for charging changes (1) enabling to control accuracy of results of changes made by mobile network operator companies in their charging systems; comprising

at least one subscription module (2) wherein subscription transactions are carried out according to resources and parameters of current charging system version;

at least one database (3) wherein subscriber and tariff information required for charging subscriber usages are recorded;

at least one charging support module (4) which enables to process subscription data at certain periods;

at least one charging control module (5) which is in communication with the database (3) and generates call detail records of the subscriber in accordance with the subscriber usages;

at least one data processing module (6) which is in communication with the charging control module (5) and processes the call detail records generated by the charging control module (5);

at least one subscriber information module (7) which is in communication with the data processing module (6) and enables to inform subscribers about their usages in accordance with the call detail records processed;

at least one pre-paid data enrichment module (8) which is in communication with the data processing module (6) and enables to enrich the call detail records; and

at least one reporting module (9) which is in communication with the prepaid data enrichment module (8) and enables to create income reporting in accordance with the call detail records enriched by the pre-paid data enrichment module (8)

and characterized by

at least one recharging module (10) which is in communication with the charging control module (5) and sends the actual call detail records processed by the data processing module (6) to the charging control module (5) in order to be verified based on the changed charging parameters.

2. A system (1) according to Claim 1, characterized by the database (3) wherein new charging parameters desired to be verified according to the changed charging are recorded.

A system (1) according to Claim 2, characterized by the charging control module (5) which generates the actual environment call detail records for the verification environment in accordance with the information received from the recharging module (10) and the verification environment call detail records by the charging resources in the verification environment recorded in the database (3).

4. A system (1) according to Claim 3, characterized by the data processing module (6) which processes the verification environment call detail records generated by the charging control module (5).

5. A system (1) according to Claim 4, characterized by the pre-paid data enrichment module (8) which enables to enrich the verification environment call detail records in order that income report is drawn up.

6. A system (1) according to Claim 5, characterized by the reporting module (9) which creates verification environment income report in accordance with the verification environment call detail records enriched by the pre-paid data enrichment module (8).

7. A system (1) according to Claim 6, characterized by at least one comparison module (11) which is connected to the reporting module (9) and compares the actual environment income report generated by the reporting module (9) and the verification environment income report with one another.

Description:
A VERIFICATION SYSTEM FOR CHARGING CHANGES Technical Field

The present invention relates to a verification system for charging changes which enables to control accuracy of results of changes made by mobile network operator companies in their charging systems.

Background of the Invention

Today, subscription transactions are carried out in mobile network operator companies by using subscription module according to resources and parameters of current charging system version. Call detail records (CDR) created as a result of real-time charging are sent to offline pre-paid data enrichment module and then they are used for the purpose of income reporting by performing reporting transfer from here. Together with the subscriptions and the balance information, the MSISDN information of the subscriber is recorded in the module containing the subscriber information of the charging system. Configurative information about how to charge tariffs and packages are also included in tree structure in this module. Call detail records, which also comprise information of price/package used as a result of usages of subscribers, are created. The said call detail records are sent to the pre-paid data enrichment system.

The subscriber data created in the module keeping the subscriber information of the charging system is processed at the end of each day and recorded in the database tables.

l The usage information created as a result of usage are also sent to the subscriber information module for the purpose of informing the subscriber.

In the state of the art, test usages need to be created by scenario richness in real environment in cases where there is not verification environment for controlling charging transition. It is not possible for the said scenarios to be created with the same richness by using test lines.

The United States patent document no. US2007201641 discloses a system which makes verification of bills issued for services on communication network. In the said system, it is ensured that service data received over service provider are recorded on telecommunications network. In the invention, these recorded data are sent to a calculation unit which is independent than a normal billing unit. The bill of the service received from the related calculation unit is recalculated, compared with the bill which has been calculated previously and then it is verified.

The Chinese patent document no. CN101827346 discloses testing a charge system automatically in telecommunication networks. Actual data are utilized in order to generate test scenario within the said system. This test system transmits these scenarios, which are generated in the light of actual data, to the test unit. The test unit operates these scenarios and compares the obtained results with the actual bill data.

Summary of the Invention

An objective of the present invention is to realize a verification system for charging changes which enables to control accuracy of results of changes made by mobile network operator companies in their charging systems. Detailed Description of the Invention

"A Verification System for Charging Changes" realized to fulfill the objective of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which:

Figure 1 is a schematic view of the inventive system.

The inventive verification system for charging changes (1) enabling to control accuracy of results of changes made by mobile network operator companies in their charging systems comprises:

at least one subscription module (2) wherein subscription transactions are carried out according to resources and parameters of current charging system version;

at least one database (3) wherein subscriber and tariff information required for charging subscriber usages are recorded;

at least one charging support module (4) which enables to process subscription data at certain periods; at least one charging control module (5) which is in communication with the database (3) and generates call detail records of the subscriber in accordance with the subscriber usages;

at least one data processing module (6) which is in communication with the charging control module (5) and processes the call detail records generated by the charging control module (5);

at least one subscriber information module (7) which is in communication with the data processing module (6) and enables to inform subscribers about their usages in accordance with the call detail records processed;

at least one pre-paid data enrichment module (8) which is in communication with the data processing module (6) and enables to enrich the call detail records; and

at least one reporting module (9) which is in communication with the prepaid data enrichment module (8) and enables to create income reporting in accordance with the call detail records enriched by the pre-paid data enrichment module (8).

New parameters of the tariff information which are desired to be verified according to the changed charging, are also recorded inside the database (3) included in the inventive system (1).

The inventive system (1) also comprises at least one recharging module (10) which is in communication with the charging control module (5) and sends the actual call detail records processed by the data processing module (6) to the charging control module (5) in order to be verified based on the changed charging parameters. The charging control module (5) generates the actual environment call detail records for the verification environment in accordance with the information received from the recharging module (10) and the verification environment call detail records by the charging resources in the verification environment recorded in the database (3). The data processing module (6) processes the verification environment call detail records generated by the charging control module (5). The subscriber information module (7) informs the subscriber about the verification environment call detail records processed by the data processing module (6). The pre-paid data enrichment module (8) ensures that the verification environment call detail records are enriched and made suitable for drawing up income report and the reporting module (9) creates verification environment income report in accordance with the verification environment call detail records enriched by the pre-paid data enrichment module (8).

The inventive system (1) also comprises at least one comparison module (11) which is connected to the reporting module (9) and compares the actual environment income report generated by the reporting module (9) and the verification environment income report with one another.

In the inventive system (1), firstly the set of subscriber that will be able to generate sufficient charging scenario is determined. The current subscription and balance information related to the said subscribers are received and they are recorded in the database (3). New charging parameters are generated by using the data included in the central catalogue inside the database (3) and these parameters are recorded inside the database (3). Subscriber is created in the charging system in the verification environment by the new subscriber data recorded inside the database (3). The actual usage data of the subscribers are sent from the recharging module (10) to the charging control module (5) and the charging control module (5) generates the verification environment call detail records depending on the new charging parameters recorded in the database (3). The verification environment call detail records generated are sent to the data processing module (6) so as to be processed and then to the pre-paid data enrichment module (8), which is enriched so as to draw up income report, from here. The reporting module (9) generates the verification environment income report in accordance with the enrichment transaction carried out in the pre-paid data enrichment module (8). Finally, the comparison module (11) compares the actual environment income report generated by the reporting module (9) and the verification environment income report with one another. Balance information of subscribers at pre-determined periods for example such as end of day are processed by the charging support module (4). With the inventive system (1), mobile network operator companies can control accuracy of results of changes made by them in their charging systems. The said system (1) receives actual usage/subscriber data as input. The verification environment generated comprises new charging parameters. Thus, the new charging parameters are generated in the verification environment and results of the actual environment and the verification environment are compared by the system (1) automatically. Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop a wide range of embodiments of inventive "Verification System for Charging Changes (1)", the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.
