Abstract:
In a wind turbine device used to drive a power generator or move a mechanical device, a vertical axis wind turbine is provided. In the vertical axis wind turbine, in order to reduce a noise occurring when a strong wind blows, a wind adjusting member having a section shaped into the section of a vane is rotatably supported by a rotary shaft; a coupling mechanism which fixes the rotational positions of the wind adjusting member and the vane chord of a rotary vane while the wind adjusting member and the vane chord of a rotary vane are in parallel, is provided in the rotary shaft; a mechanism for downwardly moving the entirety of the wind turbine device to the root of a pole is added to the rotary shaft; a sound deadening mechanism composed of a flexible member is provided in the rear edge of the vane; and a braking mechanism is added to the rear edge of the vane.
