Abstract:
The aim of the present invention is to provide a vertical-axis wind turbine system capable of the highly efficient generation of electricity by controlling the flow of wind and simultaneously operating a plurality of vertical-axis wind turbines. For this purpose, the present invention relates to a vertical-axis wind turbine system comprising: a rotatably installed flat plate; a first and a second vertical-axis wind turbine installed inline on the top surface of the flat plate and including a rotation shaft and plurality of blades radially installed on the rotation shaft, respectively; a third vertical-axis wind turbine installed in front of the first and second vertical-axis wind turbines to form a triangular configuration with the first and second vertical-axis wind turbines, and including a rotation shaft and a plurality of blades radially installed on the rotation shaft; a columnar sector cover for covering the blades of the third vertical-axis wind turbine at the left or right of the front thereof; a first wind guide plate installed between the first vertical-axis wind turbine and the third vertical-axis wind turbine, and a second wind guide plate installed between the second vertical-axis wind turbine and the third vertical-axis wind turbine; a third wind guide plate installed between the first and second wind guide plates to cover the blades disposed at the rear surface of the third vertical-axis wind turbine, for guiding wind discharged after rotating the blades of the third vertical-axis wind turbine toward the blades of the first vertical-axis wind turbine or second vertical-axis wind turbine; and a tail wing installed on the flat plate to be positioned directly at the rear of the third vertical-axis wind turbine, for applying rotational force to the flat plate according to changes in the wind direction, in order to constantly maintain the front surface of the third vertical-axis wind turbine oriented toward the direction of oncoming wind.
