Abstract:
A vertical continuous casting apparatus, according to one embodiment of the present invention, may comprise: a casting mold configured to vertically support a cast piece to be continuously cast; a horizontal mold stool having movable pulleys provided on either side thereof and vertically supporting the cast piece; a motor for controlling the movement of the movable pulleys via wires; and a controller for controlling the operation of the motor by torque compensation control by weight and length compensation control by expansion of the wires.
