Abstract:
A parabola modulation circuit performs amplitude modulation of a horizontal parabola signal by a vertical modulation signal by multiplying the horizontal parabola signal and the vertical modulation and the phase of the parabola signal is modulated in accordance with the vertical modulation signal. The modulated horizontal parabola signal is output to a correction current output amplifier. When an NS pin-cushion distortion on the CRT tube is right-left asymmetric, a horizontal parabola signal generation circuit is set, so as to generate a right-left asymmetric horizontal parabola signal. By adjusting the value of n in the n power waveform generator in the horizontal parabola signal generation circuit, it is possible to correct the gull wing distortion.
