Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vertical downstroke hydraulic press with a continuous internal surface, the hydraulic press: having been developed in order that the hydraulic press, which presses and compresses the outer surface of an object such as various pipes or ropes, enables respective pressing surfaces, formed on a plurality of dies for pressing, to perform a pressing operation while being continuously connected instead of having gaps therebetween that narrow in response to the pressing while separated from each other; and having a pressing head part for pressing and compressing an object to be pressed along the circumference of the outer surface of the object to be pressed while the plurality of dies, which are spaced a predetermined interval apart in a radial shape, move toward the center when the object to be pressed is inserted therein. The vertical downstroke hydraulic press with a continuous internal surface comprises: an outer frame having a die mounting part which penetrates the center thereof in the forward-backward direction and which is formed in the shape of a regular polygon having N sides, N being an integer greater than or equal to 5, and a guide hole which has a vertex, at which the two sides of the die mounting part meet, that is positioned in the center of the upper end thereof and which vertically penetrates the center thereof; the N dies, each comprising a first sliding surface, which has a top end face uniformly extending in the forward-backward direction and coming into close contact with one side of the die mounting part, two second sliding surfaces each extending from one of two ends of the first sliding surface toward the center of the die mounting part or in parallel to an extension line toward the center thereof so as to meet at the end thereof, and a lifting/lowering guide surface formed by chamfering one of the two edges, at which the first sliding surface and the second sliding surface meet, such that the first sliding surface are 40-70% of the length of the side of the die mounting part, and the end face thereof forms an angle that is the same as the internal angle of the die mounting part; an elastic restoring means for applying force in the direction in which the first sliding surface and the lifting/lowering guide surface are mounted at edges at the internal angle of the die mounting part; and a hydraulic actuator having a rod, which is vertically lifted/lowered at the lower portion thereof, and a pressing block which penetrates the guide hole and is lifted/lowered at the lower end of the rod, and which has a pressing contact surface coming into close contact with the lifting/lowering guide surface and sliding while pressing the lifting/lowering guide surface according to the movement of the rod.
