Abstract:
The vertical ladder is intended for use in confined spaces. The ladder comprises: a frame made up of vertical posts and of cross pieces which interconnect adjacent vertical posts; steps, each of which is moveably fastened to the frame such as to be able to rotate about a horizontal axis; and means for securing the steps in a horizontal position. The frame comprises more than two vertical posts and is three-dimensional, and the steps are fastened to the frame in two vertical rows such that the steps can be secured in a horizontal position inside the body of the frame, the steps of one vertical row being offset from the steps of the other vertical row throughout the height of the frame. Technical result: increased safety and ease of use of the ladder.
